We’ve had a busy 24 hours…
Yesterday evening, we attended VC Village Inaugural NYC event hosted by Goodwin at their offices in the New York Times Building.
Today, we spent the morning at the Montgomery Innovation Summit hosted by the Montgomery EDC in Montgomery, NJ. The event kicked off with a keynote speech by Senator Andrew Zwicker followed by several panels including one with different resources made available by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and Somerset County Economic Development. Our very own Junaid Mian, RPh was on a panel during the second half of the morning where he discussed venture funding within the biotech and life sciences space. In the afternoon, the event moved to the Montgomery Innovation Hub located at 23 Orchard where a barbeque and networking activities continued. Overall, we at the 1435 Capital Management team had a great day and it was good seeing so many familiar faces.
